The camera was successfully crowdfunded on Indiegogo in 2013, but when the camera’s manufacturer filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, a Swiss investor swooped in to acquire the company’s assets and were not obligated to make good on Panono’s previous promises to its backers.

However, the camera’s new holding company, Professional360 GmbH, is trying to “restore trust and win back its early supporters” the company said in a press release.

The discount has been offered to 2,000 supporters of the Indiegogo campaign who have not yet received their cameras, and includes approximately 50 percent off the camera’s retail price and free unlimited access to Panono’s cloud-based service features (a $600 value). But, the offer is limited to one camera per supporter and 50 cameras per month.
