Make money from your 360 photos with Roundme Stock

After a few years of capturing 360 photos, it’s probable you have hundreds if not thousands of great immersive photos.

Now, virtual tour creator and 360 photo platform Roundme has announced Roundme Stock, which will allow its uers to buy and sell 360 photos.

Users will be able to add as many 360 photos to Roundme Stock as they want and sell the same image to different buyers an unlimited number of times.

There are, however, some basic requirements photos must meet to be eligible to sell. They must be 8 bit JPEG or TIFF files of fully spherical photos in an equirectangularStretching a spherical image into a flat, rectangular format. “That’s another promising step for Roundme in adopting VR content for the daily use by content professionals,” said Roundme CEO Konstantin Andreev in a statement. “Our platform gathered thousands of leading photographers who share their high-quality 360-degree panoramas with the community. Now with the Roundme Stock they can make money on their immersive publications, and Roundme visitors can easily find and purchase the most stunning handpicked VR.”

According to Roundme, the platform currently has 80,000 users and more than 400,000 360 images.
