Welcome to Immersive Shooter! We could not be more excited to be launching at NAB 2017 with an awesome live show about anything and everything 360.

Over the next few weeks, we hope to become your go-to resource for immersive storytelling.

It’s our mission to bring immersive journalists and 360 and VR documentary professionals up-to-date news, unbiased reviews of the latest gear, detailed tutorials and guides, and best practices from top VR journalists and filmmakers.

Authored by professional shooters from around the globe, Immersive Shooter is by the community, for the community. We are practicing journalists, educators, and conference junkies. Our team of men and women extends across national borders and racial lines.

And our vision is to celebrate the diversity, innovative nature, collaborative culture and creative spirit of our emerging industry.

We promise to share advanced strategies from our early adopters, experts and industry veterans, but we’ll also cover the basics for those just getting started in this immersive world. Our tutorial content will span from those using Insta360 Nanos and Samsung Gear 360s, to Z Cams and Insta360 Pros, and even Jaunt ONEs and Nokia Ozos every once in awhile–we promise.

With a razer-sharp focus on immersive journalism and documentary practices, we also want to make it easier for you to keep up with the changes in our industry: new cameras and accessories, app and software launches, nuts-and-bolts production details, new post-production techniques, cool projects across the globe, and even one-off deals and discounts. We hope it saves you time wading through news from every industry with VR applications.
