Kandao Technology has just launched live streaming functionality for its Obsidian cameras via Kandao Studio.
After updating both firmware and software, users will be able to live stream 4K stereoscopicVideo shot with two parallel cameras (or in the case of 360° video, multiple pairs of parallel cameras) Commonly referr… More 360 video at 30fps-however, a license is required.
Users will also be able to record the live broadcast to share higher quality footage after the event.
To get started, users should download the latest firmware update for the Obsidian R and S cameras through the Remote Controller App or via OneDrive,where you can also find a firmware updating guide. Then, open Kandao Studio and select ‘Help’ and then ‘Check for Updates’ to update to the latest version of the software, v2.4.
Users will also need to prepare a gigabit Ethernet cable and gigabit router, as well as an i7-5960x CPU, Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU and 32 GB of memory as a minimum.
