NAB was full of accessories specifically made for 360 video production, from monopods and lights to at least four gimbals dedicated to 360 filming, from OwlDolly, LanParte, NetMedia and Varavon—maybe more.
The Guru 360 camera stabilizer is among the first (if not the first) of those 360 camera stabilizers to ship and is available now for $299.
The Guru 360 camera stabilizer offers a narrower form factor than existing gimbals to minimize how much of the gimbal your audience sees in any 360 shot.
Key features of the Guru 360 camera stabilizer
Unlike existing gimbals for traditional cameras and smartphones, the Guru 360 has a narrower form factor for a less obstructed of 360 videos shot on the move, while correcting unwanted movement and horizon drift.
The stabilizer can hold smaller 360 cameras weighing up to 250 grams, like the Samsung Gear 360, Ricoh Theta, Nikon Keymission and Kodak Orbit360, among others.

The pre-calibrated stabilizer features automatic inversion, three-axis stabilization, and three filming modes, including follow mode for fluid motion, lock mode to lock in each axis, and head lock mode to lock the camera’s lenses in a fixed direction.
There’s also a ¼ mount on the bottom of the handle to attach the gimbal to a tripod, or monopod.
One cool feature of the Guru 360 is that the gimbal head is interchangeable with the Moza Mini-C smartphone stabilizer and Mini-G GoPro stabilizer. So, instead of taking two separate gimbals to switch from a Gear 360 an Insta360 Nano, you can bring one handle and two gimbal heads.
Compared to existing gimbals, the Guru 360 camera stabilizer offers a smaller form factor and less obstruction.
The Guru 360 battery lasts four to eight hours and can be recharged from the handle. The Guru 360 kit includes the stabilizer, counter weights, an adapter plate for the Dual Kodak PixPro SP360, one battery, a micro USB battery holder, charger and cable, and an allen key.
The Guru 360 can be purchased online now for $299 and will ship two to four weeks after purchase.
Guru Air 360 and Moza Wearable Kit also announced
It also announced the Guru Air 360 stabilizer and Moza Wearable Kit at NAB 2017.
The Guru Air 360 is available now for pre-order for $699. It can hold cameras up to 3.3 pounds.
The Guru Air 360 can accommodate 360 cameras up to 3.3 pounds (including the Z Cam S1, GoPro Omni rig, Insta360 Pro and Vuze, among others). It will ship within the next month or two and is available for pre-order for $699 now.
The Moza Wearable Kit, $99, is a mount that attaches to the Guru 360, Mini-C or Mini-G gimbal head to provide stabilization in a smaller form factor.
The Moza Wearable Kit replaces the Guru 360 handle with a tiny mount that allows users to attach the head of the Guru 360 to helmets, drones and other accessories. The Wearable Kit is also available for pre-order for $99.
