The Vuze XRAll of immersive media encompassing VR, AR, MR and beyond. camera, first announced in July, is now available for pre-order for $439.

The Vuze XRAll of immersive media encompassing VR, AR, MR and beyond. camera’s unique design enables shooting either 5.7K 360 monoscopic video and 5.7K 3D 180-degree (VR180) video. Simply clip the lenses together to shoot 360, or click them out to shoot VR180.

In addition to capturing 5.7K content at 30 fps, the camera will also be able to capture 4K content at 60 fps. It can also capture photos at resolutions of 18MP.

The camera will have a mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as a companion desktop editing software for Mac and Windows for stitching full-resolution 5.7K video. The app will enable remote control of the camera, photo and video preview, editing and upload, stabilization control, filters, stickers and text, and more.

There will also be a feature called “Director’s Cut”, which is essentially the same reframing tool as GoPro’s overcapture or Inta360’s free capture tools.

And, HumanEyes is working closely with Google to get the Vuze XRAll of immersive media encompassing VR, AR, MR and beyond. camera VR180-certified.

Pre-orders will be open through November 4, and include a free bundle of accessories, including a 360° underwater case, a micro SD card and free worldwide shipping. Cameras are expected to begin shipping at the end of November.
