Today, Jaunt has announced a partnership with Hulu to bring seven new VR experiences created by Jaunt exclusively to the Hulu VR app.
The experiences include the five-part scripted VR series Invisible and two episodes from the action/adventure series Home Turf.
Invisible follows an old New York family with connections to the largest corporations and governments in the world and was created in partnership with Condé Nast Entertainment, Jaunt, Samsung Electronics America and 30 Ninjas.
Home Turf takes viewers on adventures all over the world, from Utah to Iceland, in collaboration with Camp 4 Collective.
These titles are now exclusively available on the Hulu VR app, which is available for Daydream, Microsoft, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Samsung Gear VR headsets, with additional platforms to come soon.
Hulu’s VR app offers Hulu subscribers the option to watch Hulu’s entire library of 2D content from within a headset in a number of virtual environments, from a private theater to the beach, in addition to exclusive immersive content from Jaunt, RocketJump, Showtime Sports, National Geographic and more.
“As the industry leader in immersive experiences, Jaunt is committed to providing consumers compelling, immersive, and interactive entertainment content,” wrote Jaunt in a press release. “Partnering with Hulu VR brings these experiences directly to wider audiences.”
