When it rains, it pours: VeeR Editor, new 360 video editing app for Android and iOS, will be launching Sept. 15.
The first 360 video editing apps allowing users to combine multiple 360 videos and apply basic edits without stripping metadata started to emerge–mostly for Android devices–earlier this year, including V360 and Collect. In July, V360 launched an iOS version of it app, and just last week, expanded its iOS version’s features to match those of its Android app. And, in May, well-loved video editing app Luma Fusion began to support 360 video editing.
Now, we can add VeeR Editor to that ever-growing list.
Like the other apps, VeeR Editor allows users to combine multiple 360 videos, add music and text, adjust speed and apply filters.
A unique feature of VeeR is its animated stickers and icons, including bouncing arrows and exploding stars.
Users can also adjust starting orientation of each video clip (this tool is also available with the V360 app) and add transitions between clips.
Here’s a tutorial of the beta Android version of the app from Hugh Hou of CreatorUp:
After exporting the final videos in resolutions up to 4K, users can share to Facebook, YouTube or VeeR’s own VR community. The app, currently in beta, launches for both Android and iOS on September 15.
