Starting August 15, content posted to Littlstar by non-verified creators will no longer be publicly viewable.
Verified creators are denoted by a blue checkmark on their avatar and are users who’ve published “high quality content on a consistent basis to the Littlstar platform.”
According to Littlstar’s announcement, non-verifed creators will still be able to upload, view and test content, visible on the user’s own profile when logged in, but the content won’t be available to others on Littlstar.com or the Littlstar apps. The company also plans to continue to expland its toolset for content creators.
According to Littlstar, this move is in line with its goal to provide viewers with the “best collection of curated, immersive content available” in the face of rapid expansion in content creation. Littlstar also plans to showcase verified creators’ content to make it easier for viewers to discover content creators they will love. “Additionally,” Littlstar said, “this update will set the groundwork for us to continue building in new features and products that will enhance the overall experience for everyone.”
Content creators who believe they should be designated as verified creators should reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to get verified. Littlstar also said they welcomed questions and feedback about the change.
