The International Olympic Committee is partnering with Intel to cover future Olympic Games through 2024 with leading-edge technology.
The partnership, announced yesterday, includes VR, 3D and 360-content for the games, as well as incorporating Intel’s 5G platforms, artificial intelligence platforms and drones into Multiple shots from multiple angles to capture the events in a scene (i.e. master shot, medium shots, close-ups, inserts... During the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, Intel’s technology will power real-time VR viewing of the games. Its 360 replay technology will allow fans to watch important moments from the Olympics from many angles, or choose from where they want to view the Games.
