The Ricoh R Development Kit, for Ricoh’s 360 camera that is capable of live streaming 2K video at 30 fps for 24 hours straight, is now shipping.
First announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, the kit costs $499 and began shipping June 16 after orders opened up June 1.
The camera can either stitch and stream in real-time for up to 24 hours via HDMI or USB when connected to a power adapter, or it can record footage to a Micro SD card.
The kit includes the camera, a stand, an SDK, image control tools and the source code. For more information, visit Ricoh R’s website.
